The mindblowing stupidity of so many politicians and ordinary citizens does often stop me to scratch my head and think, “Really? Like, really???” Good on you guys.

The latest one I can think of are the absolutely meaningless statements made by the head of Via Rail and the representative of Transport Canada in the story about ViaFast, the Liberal plan that would have vastly improved passenger rail service in Canada:
